Buffalo Chicken Jalapeño Poppers

WHY I LOVE THIS RECIPE

This Buffalo Chicken Jalapeño Poppers recipe combines my two favorite appetizers–buffalo chicken dip and jalapeño poppers–into one perfect bite! You get the creamy, spicy goodness of buffalo chicken dip stuffed inside a bacon wrapped jalapeño popper. What I love most about this recipe is how versatile it is, because you can easily swap ingredients to suit your preferences or dietary needs. Whether you go for classic cheddar or spice things up with pepper jack, use mini bell peppers for a milder option, or even air fry them for a crispier texture, these poppers are guaranteed to be a hit. These come together quickly and can even be prepped ahead of time, making these poppers a stress free option for the next time you need to prepare a dish for a group.

INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN

  • Jalapeños: try mini bell peppers for a milder version
  • Shredded Chicken: canned chicken or shredded rotisserie chicken work well here too
  • Shredded Mexican Cheese: you can also sharp cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack
  • Bacon: Turkey bacon or prosciutto are good lighter options

QUICK FAQ

Can I make these ahead of time? Yes! Assemble these the day or two before and bake when ready. Remove from the fridge 20 minutes before baking.

How spicy are they? Removing the seeds and membrane helps tone down the heat, but jalapeños will always still have a little kick. Try mini bell peppers if you don’t like spice!

Can I airfry them? Definitely! Air fry at 400℉ for 12-15 min.
